I wanted to say a quick hello to introduce you to the latest recruits to the TCD team …………… and the reason why I have been so quiet on here!

These little ladies kept us on our toes throughout the whole pregnancy and at 35 weeks I went for a check up at the hospital and left a week later with my hands full!

It’s been an incredible 4 months and by far the most exhausting, but rewarding full time job I have certainly ever had!

In other exciting news; I have only gone and been shortlisted for the Amara interior blog awards this year for the category of Best Interior Design Blog and to say that I am excited and shocked would be an understatement!

Turns out it’s pretty hard to get anything done with 2 babies, while renovating a property and trying to start a new business, but I have been writing and creating content in between feeds!……sometimes at 4am!

Thank you to everyone that voted for me, it really does mean so much. It has been a real struggle to keep this up, along with the social media but this has just given me a much needed kick up the backside to keep it all going! The awards night is on the 21st October and unfortunately is a virtual event this year, but I am sure it will be fun all the same; and hey at least I can be in my pyjama bottoms right!

Right that’s your lot for now; back to the shitty nappies for me!
