Amara Interior Blog Awards

I came back from my vacation to some very exciting news. I am delighted to announce that my blog has been nominated for the Amara interior blog awards in the U.K. for the category of best written blog!

The Amara Interior Blog Awards is the biggest celebration of interior blogs in the industry and is now in its sixth year. It is recognised across the globe as the leading interior blogging event and so I am very humbled to be a part of it with some very tough competition.

When I started my blog back in April I didn’t expect that anything would really come of it and I was just doing it to spark some design passion back in my life. I know that it can take years to build a successful following and subscriber list but I am really pleased with the progress so far and it has really given me a much needed confidence boost. 

In my professional life I work in the field of hospitality design and manage a successful award winning design studio. This means that my professional hat has to stay firmly on all day everyday. This blog gives me the opportunity to hang up the hat for a few hours a day and have a creative outlet where I can be more casual and share my passion of interiors in my own voice and style.

Now it goes to the voting stage and this is the part that I need all you lovely people to help me, I would be so grateful if you could spare a minute to vote for me.

The best written blog category is summerized as; for those that love to craft a masterpiece with their words, this award is reserved for the best writers in the interior blogging industry who go one step beyond the rest with their writing quality. I am over the moon that my little interiors and travel blog has been nominated ….. and thats me now frantically checking all spelling and grammar on the website!! ….. Goodbye weekend!
